The Prolyft Aetos 500kg D8+ motor is a robust and reliable hoist designed for professional rigging applications in live events and staging environments. With a lifting capacity of 500kg fully compliant with D8+ standards (no secondary safety required), this motor offers exceptional performance and safety.For heavier loads, the motor can lift up to 1000kg under D8 compliance (secondary safety required). The unit is double reeved to achieve the required capacity, providing a usable chain fall of 12m from a total of 24m of chain. In this configuration, the lifting speed is 2m per minute.The Aetos motor uses a Direct Control system, requiring only a single 16A TPE cable per hoist. We also stock cabling and adaptors for Socapex integration, simplifying multi-hoist setups. Safety features include movable chain stops for soft limits, anti-jam chain guides, and double brakes. All systems hired from us are fully compliant with SQ P2 to D8+ and BS7906 standards.
