  • Production Manager

    Reporting to the Technical Director, the role will consist of:

    • Quoting technical production work to include
    • Specification of technical equipment
    • Set and custom fabrication
    • Labour and transport
    • Writing detailed proposals for clients
    • Conducting meetings with clients and recommending solutions
    • Conducting technical site visits
    • Management of crew and technicians
    • Planning of logistics and fabrication
    • Booking sub-hires and external suppliers
    • Calculating cable requirements, rigging
    • Producing detailed technical CAD plans
    • Producing detailed briefing packs for crew and technicians
    • Performing a technician role as required on site
    • Working out-of-hours during weekends and evenings as required across the UK

     

    The Candidate

    You will have built up experience in similar roles at other AV production companies. Freelance experience is beneficial but not necessary.

    You must have a comprehensive understanding of all major AV disciplines and be an experienced operator in at least one of these areas.

    Superb client-facing skills and team management are essential. You must be able to work well under pressure and solve problems on the fly. We are looking for a team player, with a sharp attention to detail and can-do attitude.

  • Operations Assistant

    The role will involve supporting the Operations Director in all aspects of administration and will be suited to a candidate with an interest in transport operations, staff planning, health & safety & process improvement.

    The successful candidate will ideally have administrative experience, be a confident communicator and have the ability to demonstrate their commitment and dedication to providing an excellent service as well as being tenacious and methodical at all times.

    This appointment is key to the development of the office and you should enjoy working within a busy, activity led office, and view this role as a career move with significant potential.

     

    Main Responsibilities and Duties

    • Planning Logistics – working with other depts to ensure compliant and efficient.
    • Planning and organising operational staffing – working with other depts to ensure efficient.
    • Ensuring vehicles are fully operational and maintained meeting company guidelines.
    • Assist where necessary to meet H&S legislation and compliance including H&S, Fire Safety, First Aid etc– training will be given
    • Process Improvement & Best Practise – assist with identifying areas/processes that can improved and rolling them out and to ensure current procedures are being adhered to.
