  • Warehouse Manager

    The Role

    Reporting to the Operations Director, the role will consist of:

    • Planning the day to day running of the department ensuring targets and objectives are met.
    • Ensure all equipment testing, prep and de-prep objectives are met with excellence.
    • Ensure that all staff adhere to company policies and processes.
    • Create and implement a training strategy for operational staff.
    • Liaising with office staff.
    • Stock Management.
    • Problem solving on the fly.

    The Candidate

    The ideal candidate will be currently working as a warehouse manager or senior warehouse technician in the AV rental industry and have a good level of expertise in this field.

    A good knowledge of all areas of technical production is important, and experience operating at engineer level in audio, lighting, video or rigging would be advantageous.

    You will already have a strong knowledge of how an efficient warehouse process should function. You should have good level of management or supervisory experience and you must be able to organise, be process driven, tidy, methodical, diligent and have an acute understanding of the deadlines and pace required to run a successful hire and production warehouse.

    You will be responsible for a team of 7 making sure each person carries out their relevant duties, managing any additional hours required within the warehouse. As a natural organiser you will be expected to ensure that all relevant process are adhered to and that the stock management system is used to its full capability.

  • Event Manager

    This is an exciting opportunity to work as an Event Manager in a busy and growing company. You will join our fully integrated Event Management and Production company.

    Working with our Event Executives, Senior Event Managers and our Event Director, you will take the lead on the planning and delivery of a number of events that take place throughout the country. We are looking to expand our team to support the ever-growing portfolio of successful Awards, Conferences, Gala Dinners, New Store Openings and Exhibition clients.

    The role is for an end to end events position. We need someone to take control from pre-event all the way through to the delivery of the events, ensuring appropriate feedback is taken so that lessons can be learned and applied to improve future events.

    You will be supporting and sometimes leading on the delivery of live events and will be expected to communicate with the client on a regular basis to ensure they are given the appropriate support and the high level of service we provide our clients.

    You will need to have excellent management skills – time, resources, stakeholder and man management. This role requires excellent attention to detail, communication skills and a confident and outgoing personality, as attendance at the events will be expected to ensure successful event delivery.

  • Production Manager

    Reporting to the Technical Director, the role will consist of:

    • Quoting technical production work to include
    • Specification of technical equipment
    • Set and custom fabrication
    • Labour and transport
    • Writing detailed proposals for clients
    • Conducting meetings with clients and recommending solutions
    • Conducting technical site visits
    • Management of crew and technicians
    • Planning of logistics and fabrication
    • Booking sub-hires and external suppliers
    • Calculating cable requirements, rigging
    • Producing detailed technical CAD plans
    • Producing detailed briefing packs for crew and technicians
    • Performing a technician role as required on site
    • Working out-of-hours during weekends and evenings as required across the UK

     

    The Candidate

    You will have built up experience in similar roles at other AV production companies. Freelance experience is beneficial but not necessary.

    You must have a comprehensive understanding of all major AV disciplines and be an experienced operator in at least one of these areas.

    Superb client-facing skills and team management are essential. You must be able to work well under pressure and solve problems on the fly. We are looking for a team player, with a sharp attention to detail and can-do attitude.

  • AV Technician

    The Role

    Reporting to the Technical Director, the role will consist of:

    • Being a technician on site in your chosen field, sound, lighting or video.
    • Installing and De-Rigging technical equipment on site
    • Prepping and De-Prepping technical equipment in our warehouse
    • Working out-of-hours during weekends and evenings as required across the UK

     

    The Candidate

    You will have built up experience in similar roles at other AV production companies. Freelance experience is beneficial but not necessary.

    You must have a comprehensive understanding of your chosen field, sound, lighting or video. A good understanding of all areas would be beneficial.
