Supply, installation, and removal. We assess the space, specify the right drape quantities and rigging method, install everything on site, and strike at the end. The finish is clean and professional — no raw edges, no trailing fabric, no visible rigging where it shouldn't be. Our crew treats the installation with the same care as any other element of the production.
We carry black wool serge drape in a range of sizes for masking and room transformation, and BWS LED starcloth in sizes from 3x2m up to 8x4m. The starcloth uses individually mapped LED fibre optics to create a high-quality night sky effect — far superior to cheaper alternatives. We also carry SHOWLED starcloth for larger installations.
Drape is most commonly used for masking — hiding unsightly walls, service doors, technical equipment, or empty space that would otherwise distract from the event. Starcloth creates a striking decorative backdrop, typically behind a stage or top table. Both are used to transform a venue space from a functional room into a designed environment.
Yes — always. Drape installation is more involved than it looks. Getting the tension, the height, and the joins right takes experience, and getting it wrong is very visible. Our crew installs everything neatly and removes it cleanly, leaving the venue in the same condition we found it.
Yes — and we'd always recommend it. Uplighting behind drape adds depth and colour to what would otherwise be a flat black surface. Starcloth works best when the ambient lighting in the room is low and controlled. We design the drape and lighting together as part of the overall room look, so the two elements work with each other rather than against each other.
