Royal Quest III: AV Production for a High-Impact Wrestling Event Client: New Japan Pro-Wrestling

Pre-Event Preperation

Our team began by assessing the Copper Box Arena’s technical infrastructure and planning a rigging solution that supported lighting and audio without obstructing sightlines. Equipment lists were curated to deliver maximum impact while maintaining reliability.

Lighting Design
We installed a rig featuring 12x PAR64 IWBs, 12x ETC Source Four fixtures, 8x Chauvet Rogue R2X washes, and 12x Elation Platinum Beam 5R Extremes. Controlled via an Avolites Quartz desk, the lighting design created dramatic effects and ensured the ring was perfectly lit for both live and broadcast audiences.

Audio System Planning
The sound system included 12x L-Acoustics KARA line array speakers, SB18 and SB28 subs, and LA8 amplifiers, managed through a Yamaha QL1 desk. Two radio mic channels supported clear commentary and announcements.

Rigging and Logistics
A 12x12x8m ground support climbing package was deployed to provide safe and efficient mounting for lights and audio equipment. Equipment was transported in a 44T artic truck, with schedules mapped for timely delivery.

On-Site Execution

The event required precise coordination and responsive technical support. Our team of nine technicians and six local crew members managed installation, testing, and live operation.

Lighting and Audio Delivery
Lighting cues were programmed to enhance entrances, match pacing, and audience engagement. Audio was calibrated for clarity and impact, ensuring every announcement and music cue resonated throughout the venue.

Rigging and Safety
All rigging was installed to meet strict safety standards, with redundancy built into critical systems. Our crew monitored equipment throughout the event to maintain performance integrity.

Live Show Support
Technicians operated lighting and audio desks during the event, responding to real-time changes and ensuring smooth transitions between segments.
