For the eighth consecutive year, Premier Events was selected as the AV supplier for KFC’s flagship RGM Conference. Held at Manchester Central, the event welcomed over 1,350 restaurant general managers for a high-energy, immersive experience. Our team delivered a bold ‘in the round’ setup, combining precision engineering with creative flair to ensure every delegate felt part of the action.

Premier Choosen as AV Supplier for KFC Annual Conference

Pre-Event Preperation

Our technical and production teams worked closely with KFC to scope the event, design the AV layout, and prepare equipment for a high-impact delivery. Every detail was planned to ensure clarity, immersion, and reliability.

Concept and Layout Design
We developed an ‘in the round’ configuration centred around a suspended square video wall, ensuring proximity and visibility for all attendees.

Equipment Planning and Testing
All LED panels, lighting fixtures, and audio systems were prepped and tested off-site, including the Barco E2 processor and media server rack.

Venue Coordination and Rigging
Working with Manchester Central’s rigging supplier, our production managers mapped out fixture placements and power requirements for safe and efficient installation.

Team Assignment and Scheduling
Dedicated crews were assigned to lighting, video, audio, and show calling, with over 100 professionals involved at peak times.

On-Site Execution

The venue was transformed into a dynamic and immersive space, with AV elements working in harmony to deliver a seamless experience from start to finish.

Visual Display and LED Wall
A 40m perimeter video wall made from 480 Unilumin UPAD IV panels displayed high-resolution content, powered by a Barco E2 processor.

Audio System and Microphones
L-ACOUSTICS KARA, SB18, KS21 subs, and A15/X8 fills delivered crystal-clear sound, managed via a Yamaha CL5 console and Shure Axient digital mics.

Lighting and Atmosphere
Over 200 intelligent fixtures including Chauvet Maverick, Elation Proteus, and Robe Pointe were programmed via ChamSys MagicQ MQ500 to create dynamic lighting effects.

Presenter Support and Show Calling
Eight 55″ screens were placed for speaker notes, with clickers and in-ear monitors provided for smooth transitions and live performances.

Post-Event Wrap-Up

Following the conference and awards ceremony, our team handled de-rig, client feedback, and internal review. The event was praised for its technical excellence and immersive delivery.

All equipment was removed swiftly and professionally, leaving the venue clean and ready for its next event.
