PYTCH partnered with Hello Partner to deliver full technical production for PI Live and the Influencer Marketing Show, two flagship events hosted back-to-back at Old Billingsgate. The brief required high-end AV, creative staging, and overnight transformation between shows, ensuring a seamless experience for over 2,000 daily attendees.

PI Live 2023 technical production by Premier Events

Pre-Event Preperation

Our team worked closely with Hello Partner to conceptualise stage layouts and technical designs that maximised impact while respecting the venue’s Grade II listed status.

Main Stage Design
The keynote stage in the Grand Hall featured a large LED screen backdrop on a raised platform for optimal sightlines. Controlled via a Barco E2 processor, the screen supported flexible PiP layouts. A Martin Audio sound system, Yamaha control, and Sennheiser 6000 microphones ensured premium audio quality.

Breakout Stage Planning
Breakout Stage 1, dubbed the Pyramid Stage, was embedded within the exhibition. We designed a structure that provided strong branding visibility and integrated AV solutions, including Martin Audio DD6 speakers and silent disco headsets for overflow listeners.

Venue Assessment
Old Billingsgate’s unique architecture required careful planning for rigging, power distribution, and sightlines. Our team mapped access routes and technical positions to ensure efficient setup and compliance with venue restrictions.

On-Site Execution

The event spanned multiple spaces, requiring precise coordination and responsive technical support.

Main Stage Production
The keynote stage featured 136 DigiLED panels, two Blackmagic URSA cameras, and full IMAG capability. Lighting included Chauvet and Astera fixtures, controlled via an Avolites Tiger Touch II desk, complemented by MDG haze for atmospheric depth.

Breakout Stage Delivery
The Pyramid Stage used Chauvet R2 wash lights and Astera Lightdrops for branding accents. Two LED walls flanked the stage for clear content visibility. Silent disco headsets allowed standing delegates to tune in without disrupting the exhibition flow.

Third Stage Setup
Located in Old Billingsgate’s Well, the third stage offered an intimate setting. We supplied a K-Array PA system, Panasonic 12K laser projector, Yamaha control gear, and a full Blackmagic camera package to complement the venue’s existing AV.

Post-Event Wrap-Up

Both events were delivered flawlessly, with positive feedback from Hello Partner and attendees. The overnight transformation between PI Live and IMS showcased our ability to manage complex logistics under tight timelines.
