For the 10th consecutive year, Premier Events partnered with Greene King to deliver their annual office Christmas party. The brief for 2023 was ambitious: transform the ground floor of the office into a Moulin Rouge meets Greatest Showman themed venue, complete with immersive décor, entertainment, and AV production.

Greene King 2023: Transforming an Office into a Christmas Party Venue

Pre-Event Preperation

Our event management team worked closely with Greene King to design a concept that captured the glamour and theatricality of the theme. Every detail from props to draping was planned to create an unforgettable experience.

Venue Styling
We installed 150m of black starcloth to transform office walls, paired with crushed velvet drops for added luxury. Ceiling draping lowered the height of the auditorium, creating a more intimate atmosphere.

Props and Scenic Elements
Feature pieces included a chaise longue, silhouette panels, and a rearing circus horse, all sourced to complement the Moulin Rouge and Greatest Showman aesthetic.

External Structures
An 18m x 9m marquee was erected outside to provide additional space, alongside food stalls, external toilets, and generators to support guest comfort and operational needs.

On-Site Execution

The transformation required precision and speed. Our team managed all aspects of installation, from scenic elements to technical setups.

Lighting and AV Production
Over 70 lighting fixtures were installed to create dynamic effects and ensure the venue was well-lit and on-brand. A VIP entrance was styled with a red carpet, chrome posts, and ropes to set the tone from the moment guests arrived.

Logistics and Crew Coordination
More than 650 individual items were scanned out of the warehouse, weighing over 4 tonnes. A team of seven technicians handled installation and de-rig, ensuring everything ran to schedule.

Guest Experience
The combination of immersive décor, themed entertainment, and premium AV created a vibrant, festive atmosphere that delighted attendees.

Post-Event Wrap-Up

The event was a resounding success, with positive feedback from Greene King and guests. The transformation showcased Premier’s ability to deliver creative concepts within challenging spaces.
