Chilly’s Bottles approached PYTCH to design and build a robust, weatherproof, and tourable festival stand to support their summer activation programme in partnership with Sipple Hydration. The brief called for a solution that was practical, visually engaging, and capable of withstanding the demands of a multi-site festival tour.

Designing & Building a Festival Stand for Chilly’s Bottles

Pre-Event Preperation

Chilly’s came to PYTCH following a successful but logistically challenging festival season. Their previous stand had struggled with weather conditions and lacked visual impact. Our team began with a full design consultation, exploring materials, layout, and branding options.

Concept and CAD Design
We developed initial CAD renders to visualise the stand’s structure, layout, and finishes. The design focused on durability, modularity, and brand presence, ensuring it could be deployed quickly and withstand outdoor conditions.

Material Selection and Build Planning
Our Woodshop team selected materials that balanced strength and aesthetics. Weatherproof cladding, reinforced framing, and branded panels were chosen to ensure longevity and visual appeal.

Client Collaboration
Throughout the design phase, we worked closely with Chilly’s to refine the concept, incorporating feedback and aligning with their sustainability goals and festival schedule.

On-Site Execution

The first deployment of the new stand took place at Love Saves the Day Festival in Bristol. Our team managed transport, setup, and final detailing on-site, ensuring the stand was ready for activation.

Modular Build and Setup
The stand was designed for rapid assembly and disassembly, with modular components that could be adapted to different site layouts. This flexibility was key for touring across multiple festivals.

Branding and Visual Impact
Bold signage, clean finishes, and integrated water refill stations helped the stand stand out while supporting Chilly’s mission. The design encouraged interaction and aligned with the brand’s eco-conscious messaging.

Activation Support
Our team provided on-site support during the first activation, ensuring the stand functioned as intended and assisting with any last-minute adjustments.

Post-Event Wrap-Up

Following the successful launch, the stand is now scheduled to tour major festivals including Glastonbury 2024. Feedback from Chilly’s and festival attendees has been overwhelmingly positive.
