RGM Fest 2026

This year marked our eleventh RGM Fest, which feels slightly surreal when we stop and think about it. A decade of building, refining and pushing the event forward year after year. What started as a fairly straightforward gathering has grown into a proper show, with scale, pace and ambition to match. And behind the scenes, a production model that keeps everything feeling effortless in the room.

The Core Team

This year six producers formed the core team, each responsible for a different part of the experience but working towards one shared outcome. The goal is always the same. A day that flows naturally, keeps the energy up and lets the audience stay fully focused on what's happening on stage rather than how it's being delivered.

With a bigger agenda and faster turnarounds than ever, four producers focused on the main stage content. Their time went into shaping sessions, tightening structure, refining slides and supporting speakers so every moment felt purposeful. The detail work is what makes the difference. When it's done well, nobody notices. The event simply feels clear, confident and easy to follow.

The overall daytime programme was shaped by Francesca, our Creative Director, who developed the narrative and tone for the day. That meant making sure the content connected properly from session to session and that the visual world supported the story we were telling. It is the invisible architecture that helps an event feel coherent rather than pieced together.

RGM Fest 2026: Ten Years In and Still Raising the Bar

Live Interactivity

One of the biggest shifts this year was the emphasis on live interactivity. We wanted the room to feel active and responsive rather than passive, so the agenda was built around moments that brought people back into the experience throughout the day.
Oli, our Senior Content Producer, led that work. He designed and delivered the interactive elements that kept the energy up and gave the audience shared moments to react to together. Not throwaway distractions, but carefully placed resets that helped the day breathe and kept attention where it needed to be.

The Awards

The awards themselves were developed and scripted by Mike, our Junior Content Producer, who focused on pacing, presenter preparation and backstage coordination. Awards shows live and die on timing and clarity, and his work ensured the night moved at exactly the right speed.
On the night, Al stepped in as showcaller, running the event cue by cue. Every video, walk-up and transition landed exactly when it needed to. Calm control backstage makes confident shows onstage.

RGM Radio

Beyond the main programme, Jake led the RGM Radio activation. The aim was never to create something that sat on the sidelines. Instead, RGM Radio became part of the wider event world, adding another layer to the experience and extending the conversation beyond the stage.

The Visual Environment

Visually, the environment was shaped by Joe, our Creative Producer, who oversaw everything from large format graphics and stage dressing through to print packs and functional signage. The goal was consistency across the venue, creating a space that felt considered from the moment guests arrived.

Behind the Scenes

All of this sits on top of a huge amount of work that happens long before the event opens.

Agenda development. Session shaping. Slide design. Presenter coaching. Video production. Interactive builds. Audio design. Awards pacing. Rehearsals and technical checks.

None of it happens by accident. Six producers, each focused on their own area, working as one team to create a single, seamless experience.

Ten years in, RGM Fest continues to grow in ambition and complexity, and we continue to evolve with it.

RGM Fest 2026 showed what an integrated production team can really deliver. High-quality content, genuine audience engagement and a confident awards show, all delivered with clarity and the kind of polish that comes from knowing the event inside out.

And after eleven years, we are still finding ways to make it better.
