PYTCH partnered with IABM to deliver full AV production for BaM Live 2023, a combined conference and awards show spanning three rooms. The brief required seamless integration of video, lighting, and audio systems, along with content management and recording for post-event use.

BaM Live 2023: Multi-Room AV Production for Conference

Pre-Event Preperation

Our team worked closely with IABM to design a technical plan that maximised visibility and engagement across all spaces.

Main Stage Design
We installed a large LED screen backdrop on a raised platform to improve sightlines. The screen was controlled via a Barco E2 processor, enabling flexible PiP layouts and dynamic content playback.

Camera and Recording Setup
A three-point robotic camera system was deployed for IMAG and ISO recording. Each camera captured separate channels for post-event editing, alongside a vision-mixed feed with full redundancy.

Lighting and Audio Planning
Complementary lighting and a high-spec sound system were designed to enhance the experience. Breakout rooms were equipped with multiple radio mics to support large panel discussions.

On-Site Execution

The event required precise coordination across three rooms, with our team managing transitions and technical delivery throughout.

Main Stage Production
The LED screen and Barco E2 system provided flexible image control, while IMAG screens ensured clear visibility for all delegates. Robotic cameras captured every angle, supported by ISO recording for future edits.

Breakout Room Support
Each breakout space featured tailored AV setups, including camera systems for session recording and audio capture. Our technicians ensured smooth operation and responsive support during panels.

Content Management
An on-site content operator managed all data, offloading raw recordings to client hard drives before de-rig began. This guaranteed rapid access to assets for post-event editing.

BaM Live 2023 was delivered without a hitch, earning praise from both IABM and attendees. The integration of AV technology and content workflows created a polished, professional experience.
