If you’re the kind of couple that wants a themed wedding, then a winter wonderland is a brilliant idea when done correctly. Here at Premier Weddings we have everything you could need to make your winter wedding a resounding success!

Enter your wintery ceremony on one of our white carpets, lined with candles, vases, lanterns, petals or even fake snow to start your day off with a bang and introduce the guests to your theme. Decorative lighting is also something that really ramps up a winter themed wedding. At Premier Weddings we have metres and metres of Festoon lighting and Fairy lights to add that extra sparkle to your ceremony room.

We have a range of chairs that would look great for your winter wonderland theme. If you’re a fan of our Chiavari Chairs, these are available in Limewash and Ice and both look great with a white and blue theme. We also have the Victoria Ghost Chairs that add a quirky touch to your day and if you want to go down the classic route, a white chair cover and sash wouldn’t look amiss in your winter theme.

To get that icy blue winter atmosphere to your venue we can use light blue uplighters dotted around the walls of the room with falling snow and snowflakes projected over the top. These can be static or moving depending on the kind of look you’re after. Moving snowflakes add a touch of excitement to the venue. If your venue is on a bigger scale, we can use a different form of lighting to create a wash of colour throughout.

If your venue is a bit drab in colour and not fitting your winter theme, along with the uplighting we can use draping to completely transform the venue. When paired with our uplighters you are half way there to creating that perfect wonderland you have been dreaming of.

There are endless opportunities for a winter wonderland themed centrepiece. Go the whole hog and have real ice sculptures or opt for something a little more conservative. We’ve seen so many different ideas over the years including: Frosted Glass Chandeliers, Frozen Twig Displays, LED Spheres in Blue and White, Fish Bowls with Baubles and Candles and many many more.

A White Starlit Dance floor will add some twinkle to your wedding reception, with the evening’s low lighting your first dance will be a moment you won’t forget in a hurry. Or for something a little more low key, choose a plain white dance floor for a splash of tradition.
