Virtual Event Studio – First Booking

The Virtual Event Studio has its first booking this weekend and we are super excited to see the space being used for a live event.

On Saturday 6th June, we have DJ Nathan Dawe streaming his #0121 show live from the virtual event studio that we have created in one of our Leicester warehouses. The 3 hour performance features 8 acts in total including a 90 minute set from DJ Nathan Dawe himself.

The show will be streamed live to YouTube and Facebook Live for the audiences of each act to enjoy at home. The studio allows us to deliver professional looking live streams whilst ensuing that social distancing is maintained at all times.

As part of our efforts to ensure that the studio is Covid secure we have implemented a number of safety measures including:

• Individual microphones for each performer
• Alcohol wipes for the CDJ’s after each DJs set
• Hand sanitising stations around the venue
• Maximum capacity’s clearly signposted for each space
• Staggered arrival time for performers
• Performs to leave the building after their set
• Gloves and Masks available for everyone
• Temperature checks for each person as they enter the studio

Our tech team will be switching between 5 different cameras on the night to ensure that the stream not only sounds great but looks visually appealing as well.

Having created the virtual event studio and not known if it would be popular, we are delighted to be hosting this event on Saturday and hope that it’s the first of many bookings for the studio.
