Draping and uplighting to create a showroom VIP entrance at a Nissan garage

We were asked by the Nissan dealership in Ilkeston to provide them with a cost effective but impactful showroom VIP entrance for a weekend event.

The client liked the idea of a black tunnel and so we designed a freestanding pipe and base structure, which could accommodate this and identified our black wool serge drape as a suitable material to use on it.

With customers being able to see both sides of the tunnel we had to ‘double skin’ the drape so that only the front of the drape was showing on the two side walls. To complete the tunnel we used a separate black drape as the roof.

To add some of the Nissan corporate colour to the tunnel (red) we installed 6 of our super bright Elation Sixbar 1000 LED units along the internal perimeter.

Once the lighting in the showroom near the entrance was dimmed we are told that this looked ‘fantastic’. Our event crew however didn’t stay around to find out…
