Stubton Hall Wedding

We look back at a recent wedding that we supplied a wide range of equipment for, at stubton hall

The Premier Weddings team met Richard and Jane at a Stubton Hall Wedding Fair way back in February 2015. Richard started with a few ideas here and there and ended up putting on the wedding of a life time. His chosen venue was Stubton Hall, which is close to our hearts here at Premier Weddings as we do a lot of work there and have a wonderful working relationship with Jessica and Rachel from Stubton’s events team.

Richard’s original order consisted of a dance floor, the LOVE Letters and a sphere package. However, he wasn’t satisfied with just that! So where do we start…

Richard and Jane ordered a PA System which consisted of L’Acoustic speakers and Sennheiser wireless microphones which were used in the Music Room for the ceremony. Both the bride and groom wore a discrete microphone so that they could ensure that their guests wouldn’t miss a peep!

Stubton Hall have their own Chiavari Chairs however they have dark pads for the seat cushions. Premier Weddings have ivory pads which Jane preferred for the theme of her ceremony. Therefore, they hired 50 of Premier’s Chiavari Chairs for the ceremony but used Stubton’s chairs for the wedding breakfast and reception. Each of our Chaivari Chairs is cleaned before every event to ensure they look fabulous in your chosen venue and this was certainly the case for Richard and Jane. They really did look stunning in Stubton’s Music Room.

The Orangery at Stubton Hall is simply stunning, it is an incredibly large room with a built in bar at one end. Even though it is already so beautiful, Premier Weddings can’t help but getting our hands on it and enhancing what is already a fabulous room. Richard and Jane hired a 20ft x 12ft White Starlit Dance Floor to give their evening reception that added sparkle. We clean every wired panel to ensure they are in impeccable condition for our clients and this was no different for Richard and Jane’s evening reception. The floor looked absolutely stunning and added that touch of glamour that they were looking for.

For even more sparkle (because who doesn’t like more sparkle), Richard and Jane hired our Starlit 6ft Round Tables. They have become increasingly popular over the years for adding that extra wow factor to evening receptions. Reception guests are often left speechless when the main lights are turned off and the starlit dance floor and tables are turned on. The tiny LED’s even showed up through our thick white table cloths, and they show through plates too!

Of course no wedding is complete without the use of Premier Weddings uplights. We have so many different types of uplights available but we often recommend our LED Showtec Battens for Stubton Hall as it has a lot of natural light and brighter colours look great in there. We installed 10 uplights and set them to pink to add a splash of colour to the day.

In regards to adding more light, they also hired our 5ft Illuminated LOVE Letters. They are a great source of light for your evening reception and also always capture that perfect wedding picture! They were cleaned onsite to ensure they were looking their best and they were placed along the back wall at of the Orangery.

Now let’s skip to the good/totally adorable bit…

Richard was tasked with planning the honeymoon, and he kept the whole thing a secret right up until the wedding day. He had organised a surprise projector and screen with us here at Premier Weddings which would give Jane clues as to where they were going. He had put together a power point presentation with lots of images and descriptions of the area. Jane was completely surprised and loved the whole set up! It was a fabulous touch to an already fabulous wedding!

Between Richard, Jane, Stubton Hall and Premier Weddings we managed to pull off the wedding of the year! It was truly stunning and both the bride and groom were overwhelmed with how well their day had been organised, run and enjoyed by both their guests and themselves.
