Stapleford Park – Wedding

Intro

Our client approached us at a wedding showcase evening back in July last year about their upcoming wedding at Stapleford Park. We have been lucky enough to be a recommended supplied at Stapleford Park for the last ten years, so of course, we were more than happy to help. Our senior weddings coordinator organised a phone call to discuss Amy’s requirements for her big day.

 

Process

Amy was getting married in the Chapel on the Stapleford Park grounds, so the Orangery where the ceremony is usually held was free for us to install an LED circular bar. We dressed all 8 pillars in an ivory organza, so it still has a wedding feel about it, however its sole purpose was to host a bottle bar throughout the drinks reception and evening reception later in the day.

For the Grand Hall at Stapleford Park, Amy really wanted the wow factor, so we did our best to impress her with our flower wall and uplighting. We provided a 2.5m x 2.5m flower wall behind the top table, during the wedding breakfast and after the breakfast, the tables were moved so guests could use the wall as a photo back drop. Our custom made chair covers were installed on the venues chairs to complete the look.

Our Elation Sixbars are the perfect addition to any Stapleford Park wedding. They enhance the already beautiful venue with colour that washes the walls. Amy chose to have the uplighters set to white during the day and then changed to pink to add a splash of colour to her reception.

In addition to the flower wall and uplighters, we also provided LOVE Letters in the right-hand corner of the Grand Hall because no wedding is complete without illuminated letters. For the wedding reception we installed a 18ft x 14ft White Starlit Dance Floor, our senior wedding coordinator decided on this size because this sized floor looks the best in the Grand Hall. Usually we ask our clients how many guests are attending and decide of a floor size suitable based on that information, however at Stapleford Park, due to the sheer size of the Grand Hall, we recommend an 18ft x 14ft dance floor as this suits the room the best. Anything smaller, it can look a little lost in such a large room.

Our DJ was on site for the wedding breakfast to ensure that the guests all had a fantastic evening of entertainment. We pride ourselves on only providing exceptional DJ’s for our clients.

Lastly, we provided a PA system for the wedding breakfast and a DJ for the evening reception. Our PA system was made up of 4 L’Acoustic X8’s, a Sennheiser EW300 G3 (aka microphone) and a Soundcraft EPM6 sound desk. We only use the highest quality sound equipment to ensure that all her guests would be able to hear the speeches and background perfectly, no matter where they were seated.

We thoroughly enjoy working with Stapleford Park as every wedding is different, and we are looking forward to this summer with many more weddings in place already.
