LED uplighting for a wedding at rothley court hotel

Sometimes a big flashy wedding with lots of limelight just isn’t suitable for all couples. On average, people invite 50 – 100 guests to a wedding, however the Peake wedding that took place at the stunning Rothley Court Hotel on Tuesday afternoon, thought that was far too much fuss and instead had a wonderful meal with their closest friends and family. With just 13 guests and themselves, their setting just needed some final touches with the help of Premier Events.

Intimate weddings of this size are few and far between, however Premier Events loves variety! It keeps us on our toes! Intimate weddings primarily allow couples to give all their attention to those who will truly appreciate it. Instead of making it about the ‘guest experience’ it becomes just about the bride and groom – which after all isn’t that what weddings are supposed to be about?

Mr Peake took it upon himself to come in and see our Wedding Coordinator Libbie. Initially Adam wanted to talk about linen as they had an unusual colour of black and red. The combination of red table cloths, black chair covers and red bows, was truly something very unique, not only for a wedding of that size but also straying from the typical muted tones a lot of couples choose. Adam was incredibly efficient and had drawn a floor plan of the room so we could really picture what it was he wanted us to achieve.

We showed Mr & Mrs Peake our Elation Sixbars which were perfect for such a small room. The room did already have lighting however the additional lighting really bought the room to life. Premier Events has spoken about The Importance of Wedding Lighting in a previous blog. It really can completely transform your room, or if like the Peakes, accentuate what is already beautiful. The Peake’s chose a warm white to compliment the architecture of Rothley Court. The room in which they celebrated was only a small room so we installed 8 Elation Sixbars 1000’s, but it made the space even more striking.

So all in all, the pictures looked stunning and what a unique wedding it was. The Peakes celebrated with their closest loved ones in a stunning venue. We were delighted to provide the finishing touches to help finalise their plans!
