After a year of meticulous planning, countless weekly calls, and a dedicated site visit, the event came to life with seamless execution. From the moment the Champs Club members landed on the stunning Mediterranean island, every detail was designed to inspire awe and appreciation.

Charlie, the project’s event manager, reflected on the success of the experience, saying, “Bringing the Champs Club to Malta was an incredible journey. From brainstorming ideas to seeing it all come together, witnessing the joy and connection among attendees was rewarding. Every detail, from the Jeep Safari to the final dinner, was crafted to create memories that will last a lifetime.”

The journey began with a warm Champs meet-and-greet at the airport terminal and access to the airport lounge at London Gatwick, where attendees could relax and enjoy refreshments before their flight to Malta. Upon arrival, the group was welcomed with drinks and snacks during check-in at the hotel, setting the tone for the luxurious experience. The first evening featured a memorable dinner at OKA’s The Villa, where participants savoured some traditional cuisine while soaking in the picturesque surroundings.

Day 1: Adventures in Gozo

The first full day of activities included a ferry ride to the island of Gozo, where attendees embarked on an exciting Jeep Safari challenge. Divided into groups, participants explored Gozo’s iconic landmarks and engaged in team-building tasks, with prizes awarded for standout performances. This was followed by lunch at Country Terrace, which provided a moment to relax and reflect on some of their favourite moments from the challenge. After returning to Malta, attendees enjoyed free time before gathering for a sunset drinks reception aboard a Turkish Gullet. The evening concluded with a vintage bus transfer to dinner at Chophouse, followed by an optional visit to Hugo’s Terrace for music and drinks.

Day 2: Cultural and Culinary Highlights

Champs could take a walking tour of Valletta, Malta’s historic capital, in the morning or enjoy free time at the hotel. Lunch at Paranga offered a scenic dining experience, followed by more leisure time before preparing for departure. The group reconvened at the hotel to collect their luggage and headed to the airport lounge in Malta, ensuring a smooth and comfortable end to their journey.

Day 3: Farewell and Final Explorations

In the morning, Champs could take a walking tour of Valletta, Malta’s historic capital, or enjoy some free time to get those last few gifts for people back home. The group re-convened for lunch at Paranga, which offered a scenic dining experience, followed by more leisure time before preparing for departure. The group then returned to the hotel to collect their luggage and headed to Malta airport, where they could catch some last rays of sun in the lounge before travelling back to the UK&I.
