Premier Events has had a massive week delivering large-scale projects, balancing ongoing renovations, and streamlining operations. Ben shares the highs, the challenges, and some unexpected surprises, like a broken kiosk and a hunt for custom trainers.
The team successfully delivered a major sponsor event for KFC at Manchester Central and another large installation near the O2 in London. Ben traveled between both sites to support the team and oversee the installations.
With the acquisition of PYTCH, Premier’s stock of core items like cables, flight cases, and decimators is being spread thin. Ben is planning a major stock purchase to ensure they have enough equipment to support both Premier and PYTCH jobs moving forward.
Premier is enhancing its LinkedIn ad strategy by learning how to retarget users who have already engaged with their content. This will help move warm leads further down the funnel, resulting in higher conversion rates.
Premier Woodshops floors have been scrubbed, sealed, and painted, and they’re currently drying. Once fully set, the team will begin moving in desks, machinery, and racking to prepare for full operation.
The team has been testing new uniform items, gathering feedback from those working on-site. Once adjustments are made, Premier will place a bulk order to ensure everyone looks sharp while representing the brand.
After some supplier issues, Ben found a new source for personalised Premier trainers. Each pair will be awarded to team members who achieve outstanding results, with Ben planning to wear his at the upcoming Event Production Show.
One of Premier’s wooden registration kiosks was loaded upside down into a truck, resulting in major damage. Ben shares a photo of the broken kiosk and reflects on how unexpected mishaps are part of running a business.
