What’s Happening This Week?

Ben and Ella reflect on a productive week at Premier Events, where small improvements led to big wins. From streamlining freelancer processes to boosting inquiries through social media, the team has been balancing operational improvements with major event planning.

Episode 3 Highlights: What We Covered

1. New Email Signatures – Success and Adjustments

Last week, Ben rolled out brand-new email signatures across the company. After receiving feedback, he realised they needed some tweaks to make them more concise and effective. By condensing the design and reducing padding, the team now has a more streamlined and professional look.

2. Streamlining Freelancer Management

The team implemented a new system to reduce the number of emails sent to freelancers about dietary requirements. By securely storing this information in Premier’s database and verifying it annually, they’re saving time and improving efficiency.

3. Marketing Success and SEO Wins

Thanks to targeted social media campaigns and effective SEO, Premier is seeing a surge in new inquiries. The team is currently ranked #1 on Google for keywords like brand activation builder, driving several new leads.

4. Event Production Show Prep

With the Event Production Show approaching, the team is finalising their exhibition stand design, branded in Premier Wood Shop’s new colors. To improve engagement, they’ve ordered bamboo coasters as giveaway items, a key lesson learned from previous shows.

5. Managing High Demand and Preparing for Growth

January has been surprisingly busy, with the team managing large-scale event deliveries while preparing quotes for new inquiries. With projected revenue of £1.5 million for January and February combined, Ben hints at the possibility of hiring additional production and exhibition managers to keep up with demand.

What’s Next?

As Episode 3 wraps up, Ben and Ella look ahead to new opportunities, including more automation projects, upcoming events, and continued growth through marketing and SEO.
