Rutland Music Festival

Premier provide the stage and AV for Rutland Music Festival…

We were approached by the organiser of Rutland Music Festival to support them with the staging and AV solution for their first event, a 3 day festival…

Our production manager Ryan created an initial quotation and worked with the client to refine it in the months leading up to the festival. With 1,000 people per day expected, we had to ensure that we provided enough sound and lighting to create an amazing festival experience for the attendees.

With 12 bands playing over the 3 days the spec had to be able to meet all of the band’s technical requirements.

The main stage was 8m x 6m with side wings to fly the PA system and to use as an advertising space.

An L-Acoustics PA system was provided consisting of 12x KARA, 4x SB28’s and 12x 12XT’s as monitors, all powered by LA8’s and LA4X’s. Control was covered with a Yamaha CL5 at front of house and a Yamaha QL1 for monitors.

With the festival taking place during the day and evening we needed to use a mixture of lighting fixtures that worked well in both environments. The final spec included 16x Elation Sixbars, 10x Chauvet Colorado Q40’s, 12x Elation Beam 5R Pro’s and Source 4’s for stage wash. All lighting was controlled by an Avolites Quartz from front of house.

The Premier team also supported with site power, lighting and comms for the festival organisers.

The festival was a huge success with dates already secured for 2023…
