Premier provided event production for this conference, which took place in London at the Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel.

Tasked with a day-long conference and evening dinner for 150 senior managers for a long-standing client, our approach was methodical and meticulous.

How did we deliver the event?

In preparation, our seasoned production manager, Dan, undertook a comprehensive technical site assessment at the venue. These evaluations are crucial, as they allow us to measure goods lifts, scrutinise loading paths, confirm the operational status of designated power sources, etc.

The conference was centred around a commanding set structure at 14ft in height and 36ft wide, elegantly clad in polycril adorned with the client’s branding. Two 14′ wide fast-fold projection screens were installed within this custom-built stage set.

Beneath this visual centrepiece lay a 10m x 3m stage, covered in chic grey carpeting, elevating the presence of each speaker by 300mm from ground level. Steps were provided to ensure easy access to the stage.

Audio delivery was entrusted to a premium L-Acoustics sound system, with a carefully curated selection of X8, 5XT, and SB18 speakers powered by LA8 amplifiers, all orchestrated through a Yamaha QL1 digital mixing desk, coupled with ten channels of wireless microphones to ensure crisp, clear communication.

The lighting scheme was a blend of beams, spots, and washes, delivered by Chauvet and Elation fixtures, managed via an Avolites Quartz console. Astera Titan tubes added a touch of visual intrigue to the stage.

Visual content was projected with high-definition clarity using twin 10k Panasonic laser projectors positioned overhead to ensure an unobstructed view for every attendee. Video sources from Dell Alienware M15 and MacBook Pro M2 laptops were seamlessly integrated, allowing for fluid transitions between presentations.

Onstage, dual 43″ comfort monitors, discreetly encased, provided presenters with a view of their notes and timing cues. Additionally, two 65″ screens flanked the venue, functioning as repeater displays to enhance the audience’s viewing experience.

Premier provided the truss and motors for the rigging, and the in-house AV team provided the rigging points for our team.

Beyond the main ballroom, our expertise extended to outfitting three breakout rooms, ensuring AV was provided in each room the clients used.
