Premier Events have invested £200,000 in Unilumin UPAD III 2.6mm LED Video Wall, as well as a a number of top spec Barco s3’s to drive it. The Unilumin panels have earned a reputation in the UK for being a fantastic rental product and we are delighted to now be able to stock it at our Leicester warehouse.
With 60 square meters of wall in stock, as well as access to hundreds of additional panels in the same batch, we can create some spectacular live events for our clients. As well as the standard 500mm x 500mm panels, we have also invested in a number of 90 degree corner sections, allowing us to create interesting set designs and structures such as DJ booths from LED Video Wall.
As Video Wall technology has improved over the last few years, 2.6mm pitch panels have become the industry standard to use. These provide 1080p HD resolution at a screen size of just 5m wide by 3m tall, a significant improvement from the older 3.9mm pitch panels.
As well as straight walls which can be flown or ground supported, we have the option to create both convex and concave curved walls with the Unilumin panels.
Ben McCarthy, Premier’s MD said of the purchase.
“I truly believe that over time, video walls will be the go-to product for live events, be that a conference, awards dinner, fashion shows etc. We will be able to replace a traditional conference set consisting of wooden set panels and projection screens with video wall.
Having the ability to add both static and moving content to the entire wall will increase engagement from delegates.”
Jon Minns, Premier’s Technical Director said of the purchase:
“UpadIII 2.6 is a fantastic product which we are proud to offer to our clients.
I’ve had the opportunity to specify our stock from the ground up, meaning we will hold a comprehensive package able to create a multitude of screen shapes and sizes, all in high resolution and with superb colour reproduction.
Our stock will include Novastar’s new MCTRL660 Pro processors which, along with the new A8S receiving cards, will offer deep 12-bit colour support and improved grayscale rendering.
We are also investing further in screen management, media servers and fibre distribution systems – watch this space!”
