Premier has the best year to date!

    The last few years have been tough, operating in the event industry that was crippled by COVID-19 and then had to rebound faster than many of us could cope with / expected.

    2023 has proven to be a significant year of growth for Premier, and I’m delighted with everything we have achieved. Some big new client wins, and events in Paris, New York, Budapest, and Dallas have ensured that the team has been kept on its toes all year.

    From a company point of view, the headlines are:

    • 37% increase in turnover
    • 24% increase in people

    But beneath those headlines, we have achieved some great things as a team that I wanted to be able to recognise publicly:

    We have become ISO 27001 accredited, which can give our existing (and hopefully new) clients confidence that we will handle their data with the care that it deserves. Paul, Laura, Jon and Ryan have all worked exceptionally hard to get this accreditation, and it’s something that we are proud to have as an organisation.

    Our Set & Scenery team has continued to grow and evolve, creating event props for a number of high-profile product launches for multiple global brands as well as numerous exhibition stands.

    Our event management team has grown in number significantly and successfully delivered a huge event for a high-street brand that we are unfortunately unable to mention due to an NDA. We are already working with them on the 2024 event, which is exciting.

    The production team is finally fully staffed after a long and difficult recruitment process; having spare capacity in the team has allowed them to start to win new work, which they have struggled with for the last couple of years.

    The content and creative team (the colouring in club) have grown from zero 3 years ago and are now our third most profitable department within the business. Having the resources in-house to create concepts for an event and see them through to delivery has been a game changer for us these last few years.

    Finally, our delegate management team has continued to grow from strength to strength with new client wins, and the kiosk registration solution is now being booked as a stand-alone product.

    With a new dedicated social media person (Ella) joining the company in October, I’m excited to see what we can achieve for 2024 and help build our brand awareness.
