    With Social Distancing looking like it will be part of the ‘new normal’, at least until the end of the year, we have designed a hybrid event studio solution for future client events.

    We firmly believe that the events industry will return to the level seen before COVID-19. However in the meantime we have a situation where for many companies the workforce are at home and leadership teams need to engage with them to deliver the company message.

    Applications such as Zoom and Teams are a fantastic way to connect with people, but lack the ability to present a seamless live show which is engaging for delegates.


    So what are we doing about it?

    We are in the process of transforming one of our Leicester warehouses into a hybrid event studio. What this hybrid event studio allows us to do is to produce a live event experience and stream it to delegates working from home.

    The studio includes everything that you would expect to see as a live event, including a video wall, PA system, lighting rig and cameras.

    The space also includes a boardroom, green room, and kitchen facilities for clients who book the studio for their event.

    When will it open?

    We have been working on this since last Thursday and the studio should be finished this Friday ready to open from Monday onwards when the U.K.’s lockdown restrictions are hopefully eased.
