Emma and Laura from our Event Management team recently took part in the 7thannual M&IT Agency Challenge event at the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, Wales.
This was the third Agency Challenge held at the Celtic Manor Resort, which has been voted the best UK hotel at the M&IT Industry Awards from 2016-2019.
Attended by both event agencies and a wide range of suppliers and venues from all over the world, the M&IT Agency challenge was an interactive mixture of business, learning and team competitions.
The competition held over 2 days saw the winning team, sharing a joint prize of £1,500 in John Lewis vouchers. The purple team were 2019’s winners and included Premier’s Event Manager Emma!

This cleverly constructed event maximized the time that was available to meet with suppliers. Networking opportunities were also provided during lunches; the BBQ dinner and gala dinner, all of which had table plans so that you never sat next to the same person twice.
The event was a great way for us to build our venue and supplier knowledge and forge some new relationships, as well as strengthen existing ones. We are even more equipped now to recommend great venues and suppliers to our clients with the additional knowledge we took away from the event.
