PA System for Ferrari Owners Club

Premier supported the Ferrari Owners Club with their PA requirements for an event at Stapleford Park

For the Ferrari Owners Club National Event at Stapleford Park in Leicestershire Premier were asked by creative agency Collective Minds to provide AV support.

We were tasked with providing a PA system that could be heard around the perimeter of the venue as well as for a singer who was to perform on the terrace to the rear of the house.

As we know the venue well, as a recommended supplier, a site visit was not required in advance. Our sound engineer selected a system that would sound great but also not blow the clients entire event budget!

It was decided that 2x L-Acoustic 12XT coaxial speakers would cover the front of the house and a further 2x 12XT speakers would cover the side. At the rear of the house we also went with 2x 12XT speakers but also added 2x SB18 subwoofers to provide additional low end thump for the singer. A separate 12XT speaker was utilised as a monitor for the singer.

The award ceremony as well as the singer would take place outside and so we provided wireless Sennheiser EW300 G3 microphones for these elements of the day. All of the L-Acoustic range of speakers used for the event were waterproof, however front of house control was positioned inside the main house in the Billiard room.

All of the speakers were powered by 3x L-Acoustic LA8 amplifiers contained in a triple rack. A CD & USB media player rack was also provided to play background music when required throughout the day.

All audio inputs were controlled by the Yamaha LS9-16 digital desk, allowing our sound engineer to tweak the sound levels from outside, on the fly using the iPad app.

The event itself from an AV point of view ran without a hitch and our client was more than happy with what we provided for them
