    With in-person events returning we have spent the last couple of months gearing up for their return!

    The pandemic resulted in much of the AV kit we own sat on a warehouse shelf for 15 months with no events taking place that needed it!

    In recent months though there has been a significant increase in demand for live events taking place on-site and as such we began Operation Restart.

    Operation Restart involved us cleaning, testing and checking all 20,000 items of equipment in our inventory to ensure that it was primed and ready for its return to site. It’s taken a team of AV technicians 3 months to complete, but we are delighted with the results.

    Every electrical item has been PAT tested so we can be confident that it will be safe to use on site. All of our lifting and rigging equipment has been LOLER tested to ensure that its fully compliant to be used on site.

    We have recruited a new warehouse manager (Dan) to oversee the warehouse operations and are rapidly filling the warehouse with new team members to support with the prep and de-prep of jobs.

    As well as servicing all of our existing equipment we have also invested heavily in new AV kit that will be needed to deliver client events later on this year. A vMix PPU arrived this week for example, this will allow us to deliver hybrid event for clients from a venue.
