AV support for Christmas Parties at the New Dock in Leeds

We have provided venue dressing to the New Dock, part of the Royal Armouries in Leeds for the last 4 years now, all for the same corporate client for their Christmas parties.

In the entrance to the Royal Armouries we typically use our black starcloths to drape the walls of the venue. With the doors in the entrance we used our double door traps, this allows us to starcloth over the top of the doors.

As guests walk into the main arena we used flame lights to greet them at the foot of our 23m red carpet which led all the way to what was at the time the world’s largest starlit dance floor, 1200 square feet!

The starlit dance floor was used for both the drinks reception to take place on as well as later on in the evening as the location for dancing to the band and DJ.

Blue uplighters were used around the perimeter of the venue to splash some blue colour on the walls, this worked well as it fits in with the winter theming for the venue for one years event.

In later years we have hung a 1m mirror ball from the ceiling in the venue and created an effect by shining 4x moving head lighting fixtures onto it.
