Mehma came in to Premier Events way back in 2015 to talk to our Wedding Coordinator Libbie about the wedding she was planning with husband to be Jamie. Their chosen venue was Keythorpe Manor, where we work on a very regular basis. We work hand in hand with Nayar and Krish at Keythorpe Manor to ensure every wedding runs as smoothly as humanly possible.
This particular wedding wasn’t about lighting, AV or all things WOW, it was about intricate details and all those specific elements that all your guest will see! Everyone notices huge 5ft LOVE Letters and sparkly dance floors, but those that pick up on the smaller details are the guests you want to impress and boy did Mehma achieve that. From petals along the aisle to her sophisticated choice in table plan.
Mehma chose to add the little details to make her ceremony extra special. The ceremony took place at 1pm in the Barn at Keythorpe Manor. She had blush pink and ivory petals alongside her aisle between our 45cm Chrome Lanterns with real candles. The combination of these little extras made Mehma’s entrance look even more stunning than she could have imagined. At the end of the aisle, behind the registrar was an Ivory Starcloth which dressed the barn in the most heart-warming way.
Moving on to the 3.30pm wedding breakfast and reception, Mehma and Libbie spent a lot of time confirming numbers ready for us to tie 240 gold satin sashes on Keythorpe’s Chiavari Chairs for the ultimate grand wedding finish. We organised all the table cloths for Keythorpe’s tables and made sure we were there in plenty of time for Keythorpe’s staff to set the tables up ready for the breakfast.
Mehma and Jamie had a massive 238 guests attending the reception. The reception also included a sit down meal, so unlike most weddings, Mehma and Jamie needed 2 table plans one for day guests and a second for the evening. Mehma provided a detailed list of all the tables names and guests showing their allocated seats and Premier Weddings used their Mirror Table Plan with tabs for the day event and a huge piece of A0 card to display the evening guests.
Behind the top table was another ivory starcloth to ensure that Mehma and Jamie were the focal point of the breakfast (which had you seen Mehma’s stunning dress, she definitely would have been with or without a Starcloth). Mehma also hired a royal mail post box for the gifts table.
Mehma and Libbie built a fabulous working relationship and together designed a wonderful wedding ceremony and reception. Mehma bought all her fabulous ideas to all the meetings and Libbie showed Mehma how she would make it happen. All in the all the pictures look fabulous and we’re sure Jamie and Mehma had a grand and striking wedding day.
