We were approached by our client in early 2015 to see if we could assist them with a small conference, that they were hosting.
The venue for the conference was to be in one of their laboratory spaces, which was to be cleared for the occasion. We met the client at the venue to discuss their ideas for the event and it became clear that they wanted to go with a more industrial look and feel as opposed to a traditional conference set.
Our production came away from the meeting fully briefed and over the next couple of days produced an itemized quotation as well as a 3D visual to illustrate what we would be providing on the day.
After a few rounds of amends, we were in a position to confirm the booking and to get everything contracted.
We pride ourselves on how closely our 3D images match the finished product. From our point of view there is no point in designing something that is not achievable either physically or within budget. As you can see below the final production and the 3D image are almost identical.
The industrial looking truss structure for the projection screen worked really well in the venue, as did flying the projector from the ceiling, saving us valuable space as we did not need to rear project.
A trilite lectern was used to blend in with the set and stage.
The client loved our Chiavari chairs and so we used these for delegates to sit on for the conference.
We used the amazingly clear and crisp sounding L-Acoustics 8XT speakers for the conference. These speakers are our box of choice when it comes to supplying PA systems for small and medium sized conferences. With their round base stands they look exceptionally smart also.
We also installed standard conference AV equipment such as:
The conference itself ran exceptionally smoothly from an AV point of view and we are already speaking to the client about their next event.
