    BRIEF – The Hakim Group

    Towards the end of 2019 Premier where approached by the Hakim Group to provide an activation for their annual retreat at The Bolton Whites Hotel. The aim was to promote both the Hakim Group brand and the annual retreat itself on social media.

    From the brief and our previous experience of delivering several activations in 2019, we proposed a photo mosaic wall featuring 1,000 images as well as two primary sources for taking the photos.

    The first was two of our selfie iPad mirrors, these hand held photo booth devices allow guests at an event to easilly take selfie’s and to text or email a copy to themselves and share them on their own social media channels.

    The second was to use the software we own which extracts photos that use the relevant event hashtag from both Instagram and Twitter.

    Pre-Production

    Using the selfie iPad mirror’s built in software we created a bespoke branded solution featuring the client logo.

    From when the attendees first saw the iPad mirrors to having to photos sent to their phone or email address everyone knew what event they were part of.

    The Activation

    For the two-day event our Activation Team delivered a 1,000 tile mosaic wall package. The team used the attendee’s arrival, morning, lunch and afternoon breaks to engage with them and take photos needed for the photo mosaic wall. Complimenting the selfie iPad mirrors, our Activation Manager also moderated the photos being shared on Twitter and Instagram and ensured all photos shared with the event hashtag made their way onto the photo mosaic wall.

    After the two-day event, our Activation Team provided the Hakim Group with a completed mosaic wall which measured an impressive 2m in width by 1.27m in size. The bright and vibrant colours the company used for the photo mosaic wall design meant the result was one of our best yet.

    All the images taken on the day as well as a high res and low res digital version of the mosaic wall were given to the client on a USB stick at the end the event. The client could then share these images on their social media channels with their delegates.
