Green Screen Studio Bookings Take Off!

The green screen studio at the Premier Studios only launched in April 2021 but is already proving to be popular with a wide range of clients.

When we decided to build a green screen studio at our Leicester premises we had no idea really how popular it would be. I certainly did no formal market research to see if it was a viable business proposition, I just felt that if we designed something that looked great that people would want to use it.

What we have found is that a number of companies who had built ‘temporary’ green screen studios during lockdown are now taking them down which has caused an increase in demand.

The studio has been used for a wide range of uses the last few months, including filming for BBC TV, pre-recorded content for training videos as well as live events which is what we designed it for.

We have really enjoyed welcoming a wide range of clients to the studio, and the feedback we have received from them all has been really positive.

The main ‘learning’ that we have found is that because the green screen is such a different environment for presenters as opposed to being on stage at an event, allocating enough time to rehearse make a huge difference to the final output.
