Fischer Energy – Launch Event

Premier provided an AV solution and room decor for the launch of Fischer Energy at Grace Road cricket ground

Brief

We were approached by Fischer Energy and asked to provide AV support and decor for their launch event, which was to take place at Grace Road cricket ground in Leicester.

The event was to be attended by the press, local dignitaries and staff from the new company.

After a number of meetings at our Leicester offices our production manager Andy had worked with the Fischer team to create an AV solution that ticked all of the boxes.

Our 3D designer was able to demonstrate what the event space would look like with our proposed AV solution in situ. This allowed the client to be confident that what we delivered on the day would meet their brief.

Equipment Used

Audio for the event consisted of 4x L-Acoustics 8XT speakers, mounted on round base stands and powered by an LA8 amplifier.

An acrylic lectern was positioned on stage with a twin lectern microphone set, 2x hand held / lapel microphones were also used by the presenters and entertainment.

A full HD video package was provided, ensuring that guests could clearly see the content on the 10ft wide projection screen, which was mounted into the stage set.

Video playback was managed with a mixture of Windows laptops and Apple MacBook Pro’s, all running through an Analogue Way Pulse 2, seamless switcher / scaler.

A 27″ comfort monitor in custom fabricated hide was provided for the presenters, allowing them to see the content that was being displayed behind them.

The stage and set was illuminated using 4x ETC Source 4 Jr profile lights, with the set itself being uplit with Elation Sixbar 1000 LED battens.

Our chrome finished, battery powered uplighters were used to add colour to the walls of the venue, without the need for lots of cables on the floor.

The set itself was covered in a white leather grain material, vinyl branding was applied by our team on site to complete the look.

The walls of the venue were draped using a black wool serge material, with white fabric strips utilised to break up the drape. It was these strips that were illuminated with the uplighting.

To add more branding to the room, as well as to create a backdrop for any photographs, our team built a baffle wall and applied printed foamex boards to it.

Premier also supplied the chair covers, table centres & poseur tables, all of which we stock in house.

A branded table was built by the team and used for a Q&A session.

We have been very impressed with Premier’s approach to our event from initial renderings and consultation regarding what would work best, to implementation and delivery on the actual evening. Andy, our event coordinator for the project was always very helpful and punctual with information allowing us to create an event we were very proud of.
