    Brief

Premier were tasked to supply full AV production for a press and customer event, with our team having to be on site at 7am to set up the AV equipment, in preparation for a 10am start.

The event was to take place in The Library room at The Royal Institution, a fantastic venue for an event of this nature.

    Process

Along with an itemised quotation we were able to send our client a 3D visual representation of what the proposed AV solution would look like in the venue.

Once the specification of the kit and cost had been agreed our project manager, Andy, ensured that we had everything on site required to deliver the event.

    Equipment Used

Audio was covered by using a pair of L-Acoustic 8XT speakers, mounted on aesthetically pleasing round base stands.

A Lectern and lectern mics were made available for the presenters, as were a pair of wireless microphones.

For the Q&A session later on in the event SM58’s on table top stands were utilised for the panel to use.

Stage lighting was simply a pair of profile lights mounted on winch stands, along with five LED battens to illuminate the set.

Video content included Powerpoint and videos and so both windows laptops and a MacBook Pro were utilised and both fed into a Pulse, seamless switcher / scaler.

Projection came in the form of a Panasonic 5,600 lumen HD projector, onto a 10ft wide projection screen. A 27″ comfort monitor was also provided for the presenters convenience.

The conference set was covered in a white leathergrain material and our team applied branding to this on site.

We were asked to provide video footage of the event, this was achieved by using a pair of hot head cameras and Atoms Samurai Blade HD recorders. We then edited the video back in the office and were able to email it to them.
