We were approached by a national food retail client and asked to assist them with the planning and management of their national conference and awards ceremony. Having worked with the client previously on a couple of events, we were delighted to assist.
The event was to include a 1,100 delegate conference, followed by 6 breakout rooms in the afternoon and a gala dinner with awards ceremony in the evening.

Having met the client at their head office to discuss the brief in more detail, our team carried out a thorough search of the venues in the UK that met requirements. Following some initial feedback, a number of site visits were conducted to assess the suitability of the preferred venues. Then a fully costed short list drawn up and presented to the client.
Once a venue was chosen, we worked in collaboration with the client to develop a full event plan, starting with the creative direction for the event. Once this was established, we set about creating delegate invitations, along with a registration and information website.
We then developed ideas for theming, entertainment, set and stage design, along with all other event production, in line with the approved creative.
Food and drink proposals were also created and tastings carried out to ensure the culinary aspects of the event were in keeping with the theme.
Regular meetings were held to ensure key tasks were completed on time, all the while a detailed budget tracker was managed to ensure everything stayed within budget.
Premier managed all aspects of the event on behalf of the client including all delegate responses and accommodation bookings.
All contract negotiations and suppliers were also managed to ensure the client received best value and a seamless delivery of services.
We provided all event production and AV solutions, as well as supported the client with all technical decisions, including both digital and printed media.
On the day itself we were on hand not only to manage all suppliers and ensure the event ran seamlessly but also to support with any last minute changes or issues as they arose. Thus taking the stress away from the clients, so they could enjoy the event along with all the other delegates.
Overall the event was a huge success and deemed ‘the best yet’. Everything from the food, through to the entertainment was a big hit and we have already started to work on next year’s event.
