Current Exhibition Stand

Premier designed and built an exhibition stand for Current at Plasa in 2015

We were approached by Current, a cloud based rental management software supplier, to help them with an exhibition stand project. Current were to exhibit at the PLASA exhibition, which takes place at ExCel in London in October 2015. They wanted to improve their stand from the previous year, we were of course happy to help.

We know the guys at Current well as we actually use their hire system every day and were one of the first companies to get involved with the system before it launched to the public.

The brief for the stand was that it needed to look and feel fresh as well as welcoming to existing and potential clients. Screens would be needed on the wall so that the Current staff could demo the product to potential clients. We came up with the idea of branded tables, these could be used to secure iPad’s onto which visitors could use to demo the product on. We also needed to incorporate the Current corporate colours of green, blue, red & orange.

Once the design had been finalised our fabrication department set to work on the construction of the stand. At Premier we have a fully kitted out and designated workshop in our Leicester warehouse for bespoke fabrication including exhibition stands.

To provide a neat cabling solution a sub floor was used, this was carpeted in a grey colour as specified by the client. A store room with an access door at the back of the stand was also created, this provided a useful place for staff to leave their personal belongings as well as formed part of the structure of the stand.

To add some additional lighting to the stand we incorporated down lighters both underneath the table structures as well as under the shelf structure. Document holders were screwed into the panels to allow visitors to take information away with them. A custom made cupboard structure incorporating a fridge was also constructed allowing Current staff to provide soft drinks to their clients as they were having a demo of the product.
