Conference & Awards Evening

Premier provided AV support for Fresenius Medical care at their recent conference and awards ceremony at Stapleford Park

Brief

In November 2016, we were approached by Fresenius Medical Care to put together a proposal for their annual Conference and Awards Dinner at the stunning Stapleford Park.

The brief was to supply PA, lighting, video and stage set for a two-day conference with speeches then during the room turnaround create a party atmosphere with the lighting, audio and one of our dance floors for their evening dinner dance. Our projects team worked with our client to ensure that all their requirements were met for their event.

 

Pre-Production

Ben and Cait were the point of the contact from start to finish from taking the initial enquiry right the way through to coordinating the event on the evening. As we’ve worked on many events at the venue in previous years, we already had an idea of the requirements for the event.

Ben and Cait met our clients on site at the venue to discuss their requirements and they worked together to make decisions like lighting colours, set colour, placement of equipment etc. From here we were able to put together a final quotation which was perfect for the event.

 

Build

The day before the event, our team members headed to Stapleford to begin the install of the equipment.

We installed our stage and screen at the back of the venue which were completed by a blue and white set structure, these were illuminated by our high powered Elation Sixbar uplights.

Moving head lighting effects were positioned on truss podiums at the back of the room and on the stage, projecting breakup gobos on the walls and ceiling.

Our L-Acoustics speakers were placed around the room to ensure that sound was distributed equally during the awards and the evening party.

In the room turnaround, we installed additional PA for the band, disco lighting, a black starlit dance floor and installed black starcloth in front of the existing Set to enhance the awards evening element of the event.

Two of our experienced technicians managed the video, lighting and sound for the duration of the day and the evening event.

We also supplied a corporate photographer to shoot observational photography as well as updated headshots for their website.
