Conference at East Midlands Conference Centre

Premier deliver a 3-day conference and Gala Dinner at the East Midlands Conference Centre.

Our latest event involved us supporting the internal events team with the content and AV production.

This 3-day event took place in both the Theatre, Ballroom, multiple breakout spaces as well as the reception area at The Orchard Hotel where the guests were staying throughout.

Our content and creative team were involved from the start of the planning process designing a logo that was used for the delegate management system. Our team also created a PPT template that all the presenters used to ensure a consistent look and feel during each session. Our team also supported the build of each PPT, taking the client’s initial thoughts and adding animations and graphics to make them more visually appealing to the audience.

With the AV for the event, we provided additional equipment to bolster what is already provided in the theatre. We utilised our own laptops and switchers but used the in-house projector, screen, PA system and lighting.

In the Ballroom we installed a wide range of AV equipment including:

• White leather grain set structure with built in fast fold screens
• PA system comprising of a Yamaha QL1, Sennheiser G4 mics and L-Acoustics X8’s
• Windows and Apple laptops for content playback and switcher
• Sound card and extra laptop for a Live Teams call during one of the sessions
• Lighting for the stage, wall wash and award stingers

On Tuesday evening we transformed the hotel reception into a nightclub for the post-gala dinner afterparty. This included providing our very own DJ Nigel to keep the guests dancing till the early hours. Elation Artists DaVinci’s and Elation Beam 5R Pros were utilised to provide the  light show.

A PA system consisting of L-Acoustics 12XT’s and SB18’s ensured a crisp, even sound throughout the space.

Feedback from the client has been extremely positive and we are already looking forward to delivering the event next year.
