We look back at the Calke abbey wedding fayre

WOW! What a fayre that was! Over a thousand people attended this fair and the atmosphere was off the charts! The Premier Weddings team love attending wedding fayres, it means we get to meet our new clients and really get to grips with what it is they want to achieve.

So this fayre was a little different as we didn’t take the usual set up. This year we left the LOVE Letters and Tree at home, and ventured into the fayre with our new Magic Selfie Mirror. It was madness! People were queuing to get a selfie, we provided lots of props and all types of people were getting involved. We had families, including the little ones and grandma and grandpa, lots of couples, staff and bridal parties all awaiting a go on the Magic Selfie Mirror.

We took a white starlit floor also and it was filthy by the time we left. So many new brides and grooms to talk to, we needed more staff!! This was the first time we took the Magic Selfie Mirror on a fayre but we’re so glad we did! We took over 300 photos on the selfie mirror, all attendees received a free print of their photos and some people even came back for a second.

We had over 60 enquiries to attend to on Monday morning, Libbie was very busy but by Tuesday afternoon, all had been responded to and we have a couple of confirmed orders already! We are so excited to see the pictures from them.

We met so many new suppliers too at this fayre, it was great to see what’s out there at the minute. Fayres are a great way for our wedding coordinators to keep up to date with trends. We also saw some old friends that we work with on a regular basis, so it was great to catch up with them also.
