    Brief

    We were approached by David Lloyd in Narborough, Leicester to help them launch their new Blaze studio back in November.

    The launch was to take place on a Saturday with special launch events taking place on both the Saturday and Sunday.

    After an initial discussion with the client, it was agreed that we would provide a ‘base’ layer of equipment on both the Saturday and Sunday, as well as additional equipment for the Saturday launch event.

    Our team created an itemised quotation for the client to approve as well as a summary email which outlined what it was that we planned to provide for each day.

     

    Equipment Used

    We agreed with the client that we would provide a 7m x 1m VIP red carpet along with chrome posts and red ropes and flame lights for both days. This would allow users of the new Blaze studio to experience a VIP feeling as they entered.

    For the Saturday, we also provided some additional items to create an exciting atmosphere within the health club.

    Our Magic Selfie Mirror was positioned at the entrance to the VIP walkway. Our host encouraged members to have a selfie before they entered the studio. We designed a Blaze branded printout which members could take away with them. Our text message service, built into the mirror proved to be fantastic as part of the PR for the event. Members could send a text directly from the mirror, to their phones, of the photos that they had just taken. When shared on social media the Blaze branding was prominent.

    To create a buzz for members as they walked into the studio, we also provided a pair of Sparkulars. These were activated as guests entered each class and fired an indoor pyrotechnic effect into the air. The Sparkulars are a fantastic effect and proved to be a real talking point amongst the members.
