Premier Events Support The Pallex Awards At the Hilton Birmingham Metropole
Our journey with Pallex began in 2020, and it’s been a partnership characterised by growth and shared ambition. This year, the awards night we delivered was nothing short of spectacular, with a 10m x 4m stage that served as the platform for the presenters and entertainment, complete with a carpet finish and large steps that welcomed winners with the elegance they deserved.
Our audio arrangements spoke volumes, quite literally. With the industry-leading L’acoustics Kara line array paired with various XT series speakers, the venue was filled with pristine sound, making every announcement and acceptance speech resonate with the audience. This is what sets us apart as an audio visual company – our relentless pursuit of perfection in sound.
A custom-branded acrylic lectern, paired with wired and wireless clickers, was positioned on the stage to ensure seamless presentations. Surrounding this and flown overhead, 30 moving head fixtures and 24 uplighters in the ballroom created a dance of light that brought the celebratory mood to life. LED battens added an extra layer to the thematic elements, subtly enhancing the atmosphere throughout the hotel.
Four 55″ screens displayed table plans around the ballroom. During the awards, the pièce de résistance and no-heat sparkulars added that magical sparkle, firing up during critical moments to elevate the excitement.
Our role as an audio visual company extends beyond just sound and light. The dual Panasonic 10k laser projectors and grand 14ft screens, complemented by transparent glass autocue systems, allowed presenters to engage the audience with confidence and charisma. Plus, a repeater screen on stage ensured that presenters could maintain their flow effortlessly.
The event was not only about the main stage but also about creating an ambience in adjoining spaces. In the drinks reception area, we replicated the magic with tailored lighting and sound, ensuring the event’s high standards were maintained throughout every corner of the venue.
Even the façade of the Hilton Birmingham Metropole became part of the show, with Ayrton Perseo lighting fixtures casting Pallex’s logo onto the hotel’s exterior, a beacon of success visible from afar.
Every aspect of this event, from the smaller AGM setups to the awards stage, was a testament to our expertise as an audio visual company. At Premier, we understand the power of moments.
