The past 12 months has changed the way we look at and deliver events.
Moving from live events to virtual ones which has swiftly turned into hybrid events as live events slowly start to return, the events industry has never been a more innovative and exciting industry to work in.
With the increased amount virtual and hybrid events to facilitate, life at Premier Events was extremely busy and operation restart was kickstarted to get us ready for the welcomed return of live events. As part of operation restart, we serviced over 20,000 items, invested heavily in new equipment & increased recruitment to meet the forecasted demand.
As momentum increased for in-person events and exhibitions, Premier acquired a Set & Event Scenery company to add to the services we can offer clients. The investment into this new division of service was welcomed very quickly and saw bespoke fabricated items delivered to many high-profile events instantly including COP26.
The back end of the year was a very busy period for us. With the onboarding of new clients, we had a mammoth task of servicing the demand of virtual, hybrid and of course, the welcomed live events. We have been very lucky to have a great team here at premier events that work tirelessly behind the scenes to get the job done and we can’t thank them enough for their dedication.
In whole, 2021 has been a challenge but very rewarding. We have pivoted, innovated and we have an increased portfolio of specialist products and services to offer our clients.
As we look to the future of events for the rest of 2022, one thing is clear: virtual and hybrid events are very much here to stay and live events will be bigger and better than ever with escapism, celebration and good times being the number one objective!
